Special Offers, events, hotels, villas, club news, things to do, even fashion advice - it's all here, each week, every week for the Ibiza Summer Season.

Ibiza this week has been nothing short of stunning. We explored a fantastic restaurant and got a whole lot more than we bargained for (Somiart, see below), checked out the Medieval Festival (it delights every year) and then turned our attention to this weekend and found ourselves completely in awe of the number and breadth of things to do. Don't miss the Special Offers available this week, either!

Let's jump straight in!

Things to Do.

The range of options for this weekend – and indeed coming week – is exquisite.

Editors Choice - Things to Do

In San Antonio we have the annual Modified Weekender event – think Vinyl, Vespa's and best of all, it's free.

On the other side of the island in Sant Jordi, it's all about Rock n Mola, again an annual event. If that retro Rock feeling warms your quiff, don't miss it!

On Sunday evening (after their infamous Sunday Roast) Ibiza Rocks House, Pikes Hotel is showing the Howard Mark film, Mr Nice, with the man himself on the island, chatting with folks by the pool on Wednesday evening.

Restaurant of the Week: Somiart, Santa Eulalia.

Editors Choice - Restaurant of the Week - Somiart

We were, as we left Somiart, somewhat puzzled at how this gem had escaped our attention previously. It was an amazing experience and as our reviewer comments at the end:

“Do I recommend it? Hell, yes! Go immediately”

Villa of the Week: Can Toni, San Lorenzo area

Editors Choice - Villa of the Week - Can Toni

Can Toni

Only 16 km from Ibiza Town, and 7 km from Santa Eulalia and Santa Gertrudis. Car hire recommended.

Special Offer valid for the nights between June 29 and July 6 - 268 euros per night - minimum stay requirement 6 nights.

Special Offer - 4 to 17 August - 355 euros per night - 13-night stay requirement.

Hotel of the Week: Sol Bahia Apartments

Editors Choice - Hotel of the Week - Sol Bahia

Sol Bahia Apartments

Although just a short stroll from Sunset Strip and all the San Antonio action, you'll get the best view of the sunset right from Sol Bahia's own pool terrace, or better still if you book one of the seaview apartments. Great location and really friendly service make Sol Bahia your best self-catering choice for San Antonio.

Fashion Tip of the Week: DIY Punk

Editors Choice - Fashion Tip - Leena Bhatti - Punk

Ibiza's spirt of non-conformity is the perfect partner in crime for this year's biggest fashion trend: Punk.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition opens this May. Channel your inner Jonny Rotten and get your Punk rocks on a la Debbie Harry in studs, rips and super skinnies. Green hair and safety pin pierced cheeks not necessary. The easiest way to wear this trend is with a distressed T-shirt. DIY by taking a slim fitting T-shirt (not baggy and NO LOGOS) and cutting a few random tiny holes throughout. Wash several times and wear with attitude.

Be sure to keep a close eye on Leena Bhatti's tips, especially her weekly Summer Countdown!

The best insights and recommendations from Stivi, Head of Clubbing for Ibiza Spotlight

“Apart from the parties we've covered last weekend (Santos and Amante openings), another highlight was "Escape to the Nature" at Atzaro on Sunday, such a location and such great music!

Now, this coming weekend will be the last quiet-ish one in a long time (until about the 10th of October to be more specific) and also the last one where you can actually distinguish the weekend from midweek. Because from next week onwards, every day feels like Saturday night in Ibiza!

But back to this week; Friday will mean one big gathering on San Antonio's sunset strip - Mambo opens! John Digweed plays just after sunset and if you miss him there you can also catch him at Pacha later that night. On the other side of the island, but also around sunset, head to Cap d'es Falco for the opening celebration of new kid on the block "Experimental Beach". Lovely people behind a beautiful place...and trust me, you do wanna test their cocktails.

Saturday night is again Pacha, with the Shapeshifters this time, or alternatively, head to MOMA in Playa d'en Bossa for a bit of BASIC with island heroes JP Chronic & Heath Holme.

Sunday plans? Sunday roast at Ibiza Rocks House, of course.

Quick preview for the week to come: Just before the big club opening weekend starts, the IMS International Music Summit takes place from Wednesday to Friday. Dozens of interesting panels daytime and the infamous Dalt Vila parties - not to be missed! More on the opening party weekend next week of course..."
