Ibiza Spotlight's most popular accommodation for clubbers – the famous Jet Apartments in Playa den Bossa – has called in the 'House Doctor' to undertake a spot of 'trendification' (it's an interior design technical term)
Out go white walls and pine furniture and in come fresh colours, spots, down-lighters, cool monochrome prints, parquet flooring and a more modern, slimmer style of furniture, which all combine to give a designer pad feel and wow factor.
The new Premium Apartments @ Jet all have two bedrooms and with a sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 5 people. Air-conditioned, naturally, they all now have a bijou kitchenette with a nice modern feel, just perfect for mid-afternoon breakfasts or a snack as the sun rises after a hard night on the dance floor.
Jet's design team have taken into account the popularity of the place with groups of friends and have furnished it accordingly. The beds are all singles, but for whatever reason you may think of, they can be pushed together, but please, not all four of them!
There are also his and hers (or his and his, it is the 21st century after all) wash basins in the bathroom so anyone in an almighty rush to get somewhere unfashionably early can floss two by two.
Another plus for the Premiums is the view. In the jargon of the accommodation business it's called full frontal, but to you and me it means there's nothing but blue sea beyond the pool and palms right outside your balcony.
Our snap was taken in the middle of winter so just try to use your mind's eye to photoshop some toned, tanned bodies lounging around the pool to get a real impression of what full frontal means.
So that's just the apartments. Of course we all know that Playa den Bossa has loads of extra attractions; Space, Jet's own Bora Bora and a new generation of life-style beach lounges up and down the golden sands that have just the right music and ambience by day or night and last but not least, Ibiza town is just down the road.
