Ibiza's mighty defence walls play host to a short series of live music concerts over the coming weeks. The Baluard of Sant Pere, the revitalised and renovated cultural area which guards the massive gate of Portal Nou (in the Reina Sofia Park) is the venue for the three concerts which are sponsored by the council.
They've stumped up €3000 so that the Sarganta Rock Collective can finance the shows featuring a completely different type of music each week and will cost punters only €2!
This Saturday – 27th – you can see Miko and His Gang lay down some funky rhythms courtesy of his time with Prince's band.
On Saturday 18th October it's the turn of Nat Intim to entertain us with some classic pop melodies and on 25th you can dance to the Aki Praia band's infectious Latin and Brazilian beats.
All the shows start at 21.00, see you there?
