Ibiza Light Festival returns to illuminate Dalt Vila in November

Another breathtaking display of creativity, technology and culture will light up the night sky over the old quarter of Ibiza Town.

Now in its 8th edition, this year’s event is themed "Inspiration." It will take place over the weekend of 8 & 9 November. What’s more, this year is a special occasion as it marks the 25th anniversary of Ibiza Town's designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site back in 1999. Bringing together art, technology, and the island’s unique cultural heritage, the festival transforms Dalt Vila into a dazzling display of light and colour.

Visitors can look forward to a scintillating exhibition of cutting-edge light installations, high-tech multimedia projections, music, and interactive art. The festival, which pioneered the art form in Spain, is a must-see for both residents and holidaymakers.

The Santa Llúcia Bastion, a key part of the Renaissance walls surrounding Dalt Vila, will serve as the festival’s main stage. Sculptures, projections, and other interactive installations will create an immersive journey for spectators.

While bringing together the latest art and technology, the extravaganza also shines a spotlight on the island's rich architectural and cultural heritage. With the backing of the Island Council, Ibiza Town Hall, and ibiza.travel, this two-day event promises to be a unique experience for all ages.

Make sure you don’t miss out on this exceptional celebration of light, history, and art in Ibiza by marking the date in your calendar.
