There's a row going on in the outskirts of Ibiza town that's causing really bad vibes between two schools, the GESA power station, and the public works department. It seems that the two high schools, Blanca Dona and Isidor Macabich, are experiencing building shaking vibrations which are depriving pupils of valuable sleep.
The school bosses immediately laid the blame fairly and squarely on the GESA power station nearby as the most likely source of the molestation. 'No, not us,' said GESA, 'we don't run our motors until all the kids have woken up and gone home for their siesta - it's the heavy equipment digging tunnels, underpasses, and putting two new lanes on the ring road that's to blame.'
The public works department have denied that their works could produce this type of vibration and the school bosses say that they've had the shakes since well before the road works started - so over to you GESA.
