Just like in many other places in the world the car owning citizens of Spain are obliged to pay an annual tax to keep their vehicles on the road.
What they pay depends on where they live and it probably won't come as any surprise to learn that at €63.05 per year, Ibiza town's car tax is one of the highest in Spain.
What is strange though is that the island's capital is Spain's smallest municipality and has the smallest total length of roads in the country.
