It's official. Ibiza's got the highest concentration of bars and restaurants in the Balearic Islands. The Caixa Bank's economic survey for 2004 affirms that Ibiza and Formentera have 1483 eating and drinking establishments between them and that Ibiza town, with 486 distributed among its mere 11 square kilometres gives it a bar density of 44.2 per square kilometre.
