The association of bread and cake makers of Ibiza is about to embark on a campaign to persuade the population to return to its traditional eating habits.
With posters, stickers, and press and radio advertising the bread-makers hope that hungry Ibicencos will once more trip off to the patisserie to purchase their daily bread.
It seems that the big supermarkets and even non-traditional bread retailing outlets such as petrol stations are now selling frozen bread of 'inferior quality' from the mainland and our local bakers aren't making as much dough!
