The Eivissa Daurada Festival continues its concert season on the Baluard de Santa Llúcia in Dalt Vila, the fortified old town of Ibiza, on 12 September, at 20:30.
For this concert, Eivissa Daurada will feature local musicians, including Llorenç Prats (piano), Miclen LaiPang (violin), Carlos Vesperinas (cello), Joan Carles Marí (percussion), and special guest Raquel Ortiz (voice) all of whom are performers who have studied music in different parts of the world.
The repertoire will include pieces by renowned composers such as Gershwin, Saint-Saëns, Piazzolla, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Schubert or Chopin, and by more contemporary composers such as Hania Rani. Some boleros are also part of the repertoire.
Eivissa Daurada Concerts offers a unique experience in which audiences can enjoy iconic venues and landscapes of the Pitiusas islands with live music by the light of more than 1,000 candles.
To raise public awareness and bring to Ibiza a type of concert that is succeeding worldwide, Eivissa Daurada Concerts seeks to showcase a different side of the island through an inclusive, integrated, and respectful experience, mindful of the privileged place we live. This way, the festival aims to coexist annually with a distinctive musical offering in harmony with the island's diversity.
