The Eivissa Daurada Festival continues its concert season in the municipality of San Juan on 18 September, at 20:00.
As part of the Sant Miquel de Balansat festival programme, the festival will offer a concert on the patio of the church of San Miguel, under the full moon and lit by more than 1,000 candles. This event is funded by the town hall of San Juan, with the venue provided by the Parish of San Miguel.
For this concert, Eivissa Daurada will feature local musicians from the Ibiza String Ensemble: Carlos Vesperinas (cello), Astrid Canales (viola and vocals), and Miquel Tur (guitar). This ensemble will perform music by composers such as Astor Piazzolla, Manuel de Falla, and Erik Satie, among other artists with significant works for this group of musicians.
Eivissa Daurada Concerts offers a unique experience in which audiences can enjoy iconic venues and landscapes of the Pitiusas islands with live music by the light of more than 1,000 candles. To raise public awareness and bring to Ibiza a type of concert that is succeeding worldwide, Eivissa Daurada Concerts seeks to showcase a different side of the island through an inclusive, integrated, and respectful experience, mindful of the privileged place we live. This way, the festival aims to coexist annually with a distinctive musical offering in harmony with the island's diversity.
Admission is free until capacity is reached, and no advance ticket reservations are required.
