Running up to Christmas Day come and enjoy these two amazing walks and celebrate the festive season with Walking Ibiza. Bring big smiles while you walk off a few kg's to make room for all the extra food & drinks!
Toby, the founder of Walking Ibiza, will be your guide, leading and encouraging you along the way. You can also participate in one walk only.
DAY 1
21 December, Saturday, is Winter Solstice 7 Sisters, this will be a medium walk over the infamous seven hills at the end of Playa d'en Bossa beach taking in the pirate tower & stunning views before breaking out to great vistas over the salt flats and Es Vedrà in the distance. The group will pass the big salt mountain and then into the salt flat marches seeing flamingos. Along the way, Toby will be sharing stories and knowledge from his many walks, foraging for wild herbs and maybe gathering a little salt. Afterwards, there will be at a lovely restaurant in Salinas.
Rating is medium. Loose stones underfoot, some short and steep hills up and down for 40% of the walk, the rest very flat and on good paths. Approx 11km and 4 hours.
Walk fully guided by Toby with lunch is €60.
Meeting point will be Salinas, exact location to be confirmed.

DAY 2
22 December, Sunday, is Jellyfish Cave, a more challenging medium+ walk leaving from San Vicente to the most amazing cave on Ibiza. Inside there are massive stalactites hanging down, looking like a big jellyfish - an amazing sight to see! The walk also takes in the luscious countryside & meandering paths, which will give a great opportunity for foraging for wild herbs. If you’re brave there is also a place to take a swim. Lunch afterwards is at the famous Thai restaurant in San Vicente.
Rating is medium+ 80% of the walk is on good paths and caminos with one steep hill on the return, the final part does involve climbing over small and large rocks and a short rope to access the cave. Approx 10km and 4 hours
