Flaherty’s Friday fish ‘n' chips

Classic dish, warm welcome Irish style.

We live on an island full of world-class restaurants and "Michelin chefs" but where do you go for a decent feed of good old fish and chips? Enter Flaherty's in San Antonio: a family owned Irish pub right next to the egg roundabout, which for two years now, has been serving great home cooked food for Ibiza locals and tourists alike.

As of November, every Friday, they provide those suffering from Fish ‘n' Chip cravings with a generous offering: 2 pieces of fresh, unsalted Icelandic cod in light crispy beer batter accompanied by chunky-cut chips, mushy peas and delicious, home-made Tartar Sauce - all for a shade under €9.

Walking into Flaherty's feels like you stepped into a little Ireland on Ibiza, matched with a warm Irish welcome from the attentive staff. Couple this with a pint of Guinness and you might even forget you are actually on Ibiza.

There's plenty more to do at Flaherty's too with all major sporting events televised on numerous large TV screens. After a couple of pints, you can also fire up the Karaoke or enjoy a night of live music on Saturdays.

Flaherty's is easily the best place we've tried for fish ‘n' chips on Ibiza, for quality, quantity and value for money. You should try it, it's a no brainer.
