The Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort was a new project in 2013 by the Pacha group to further expand their empire of venues across the island and globe as a whole. On balance the venue was a huge success as both a hotel, daytime pool area and late night party venue. We liked the place so much that we selected two of their parties with Nicolas Jaar and the Cocoon closing party afters in our Top 10 Ibiza Moments of 2013 article.
The opening party for the venue will take place on Friday 30th May, no doubt utilising the full range of facilities and space Destino Ibiza offers. The cherry shaped pool, the beautiful wooden arch stage, the views across to Dalt Vila and so on. New for this year they have a created a new room, more space and have reimagined the decoration around the resort. Improvements have been made to the restaurant, the pool club, fitness room, hot yoga area, wellness centre (aka spa) and private club - Tox. No word yet on the lineup for the party, more as we have it.
The resort as a hotel complex itself will open on Wednesday 30th April, with guests and islanders invited to check the venue out for free. In fact, if you're on Ibiza this year Destino is open to visitors all season long during the daytime.
As a side note, you may or may not have heard that the famous Gumball 3000 rally will finish up on Ibiza this year, with the party being hosted at Destino on the 12th June.
