In The Dark - Hï Ibiza

The new incarnation of Thursday nights at Hï Ibiza was brand new party series In The Dark. With a handful of heavyweight resident DJs, the party delved into the underground side of house and techno.

The newest superclub in Playa d'en Bossa, Hï Ibiza (formerly known as Space) made sure to keep the original spirit of the island alive. With cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art decor in its bag of tricks, the superclub provides a blank slate that offers a unique take on the clubbing scene.

The Night League, the creative force behind Hï, brought in five residents with strong connections to the island to guarantee this happened in the aural dimension as well. Sound masters Joris Voorn, Kölsch, Luciano, Nic Fanciulli and Steve Lawler brought clubbers on an underground sonic journey every Thursday from 8 June to 21 September.

The guest DJs digging in for a tussle with the beat were Housekeeping, Bas Ibellini, wAFF, Lauren Lo Sung, Anek, Solardo and Cassy. In what was marked as a huge date for techno fiends, Joseph Capriati took over the Theatre all night long on 27 July in a one-off appearance. Others joining the residency for one-off appearances were Claude VonStroke, Apollonia, Richy Ahmed, Lauren Lane, Skream and Patrick Topping.

With such an exciting array of talent, the new night became one of the biggest new parties of the season. Now that the next avatar of clubbing has come to life, In The Dark ensured that the original underground spirit of the island lives on and thrives.
