Since launching in winter 2015, the Unusual Suspects crew were to be found lurking beneath Playa d'en Bossa's streets in Sankeys' basement. Solid house and techno line-ups secured the residency a full summer season in 2016, and in 2017 it got even bigger as it not only returned to Sankeys for a mammoth 20 week but also headed to Benimussa Park for an open-air party.

The al fresco party took place on Thursday 18 May, with Raresh and Praslea headlining the Treehouse stage, alongside fellow Unusual Suspects regular, Rick Maia. London-based promoter and record label, Half Baked, was hosting the Seal Pit with a collective of artists that includes Le Loup, Sam Bangura, Greg Brockmann, and going b2b is Federico Grazzini and Frank Storm. The minimal juice flowed from 16:00 until 23:00, and from there head through to Playa d'en Bossa as the Unusual Suspects crew takes over Sankeys until sunrise.
