As you walk along Playa d'en Bossa, there is no end to the restaurants, cafes, and bars that line the streets. As I've been living in Ibiza for seven weeks now, I've had the opportunity to try numerous places, and none has stood out to me in so many ways as Passion Cafe has. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the “healthy” theme that is promoted throughout their menu. At home I'm used to maintaining a pretty healthy lifestyle all around, and living in Ibiza it has definitely been a challenge to say the least.
The first standout item on the menu is the wide array of smoothies. Aphrodisiac smoothies, wake up and power smoothies to give you energy, immune boosting smoothies (definitely needed to ward off that “Ibiza flu”), cleansing and detox smoothies perfect for the day after a crazy night out. There is also a wide selection of juices, coffees and milkshakes. I must say that the strawberry milkshake is by far the best milkshake I've ever had!
The food menu is quite diverse as well with a full page of mouth watering breakfast choices served until 2 pm, along with gourmet sandwiches, pasta, and wraps served after 2 pm. There's also a full page menu of items served all day long, and another list of specials as well as a take away menu. What's most impressive, though, may be the extensive list of every type of salad you can imagine. I've had the pleasure of trying several, and they were very fresh, delicious, and satisfying. Passion cafe not only has an amazing menu with high quality fresh food, but all the portions are huge. The customer service is also top-notch with friendly and smiling wait staff. An added bonus is the complimentary Wi-Fi while you dine.
