Judgement Sunday held one of the best nights so far on Sunday 15 July, as people turned up in droves to catch one of the strongest line-ups yet.
And with a main room featuring Judge Jules, Eddie Halliwell, Sander van Doorn and Vicky Devine, tonight was always going to be something special.
So, once getting inside Eden, it was no surprise to be immediately met with a packed – and rather sweaty - dancefloor, swarming with clubbers throwing themselves around to the hard tech and trance music being played out.
Eddie Halliwell was back in town to play alongside fellow Radio 1 dj, Judge Jules, and these two alone can draw in a full house at most clubs anytime they play.
While Dutchman, Sander van Doorn, relishing his new residency at Judgement Sunday this summer, continues to grow his fan base with every set here.
From as early as 12:30am – which is early in Ibiza club terms – the queues were starting and the dancefloor filling up.
Hanging around the entrance for only a few minutes, you could feel the excitement of many fans wanting to get a taste of Eddie and ‘the Judge’, even hanging around the bouncers asking for autographs of the dj’s !
But of course, the real action goes on inside and this evening it was pure, hard and very very loud – the dancefloor was rammed to the maximum, full of bouncy boys and glow stick girls.
For those who prefer some lighter tunes – and space - to dance to, the Funky Room at Eden is the place to be.
Tonight, as every week, this back room was exceptional – with guest dj sets from Mason, Tim Healy (of Coburn) and Judge Jules, who plays a funky house set in here every week.
Playing an awesome set with a full-on electro twist was Mason (pictured right), who is surely one to watch for the future.
Offering an entirely different assortment of tunes – ranging from funky house to dirty electro – the Funky Room is a more laid back affair, but with fantastic music none-the-less.
Judgement Sunday is still the busiest party in San Antonio and each week you can be sure of a wild and rather crazy party. In fact, this year has seen up to 1,000 extra clubbers each week at Eden.
Judge Jules said,
"We are obviously over the moon that Judgement Sundays has so far been busier than the last seven years - it's like Radio 1 weekend every week and the atmosphere is just fantastic. "
