"Warriors come out to plaaaaaaaay!"
Octan Ibiza - the island newest club - needed a card to pull out to mark its intent. Safe to say, it has produced an ace. Returning to the site of its former home, Steve Lawler's Warriors was the definitive Sunday underground party. During a dominant five year spell from 2012 to 2016, the tech house haven recruited many rebels to the cause.
Ever since it disappeared from Ibiza's late night landscape, there's been a hankering for it to return among Ibiza's clubbing community. With the arrival of Octan heralding a new dawn, its seems the time is finally right.
Confirmed acts to be joining Lawler under the red lights of the Basement include Enzo Siragusa, Ejeca, Seb Zito and Ben Stirling. Expect faces from the VIVa Music roster to feature heavily.
The party is famed for helping the early career of Darius Syrossian and if you speak to workers with several years service under their belt, they've all got a story to tell about Warriors.
The highly-anticipated opening party is on Sunday 7 July and then weekly until the closing on Sunday 18 August.
