Here's a party with a cause. On Thursday 13 September some of the biggest names in house and techno will unite to defend wildlife with this one-off event: The Night League & Music Against Animal Cruelty Present “Wild” at Ushuaïa.

The line-up alone is enough to make this an unmissable date for your diaries. Black Coffee, Adam Beyer, Art Department (co-founder of M.A.A.C), Bedouin, DJ Sneak, Ida Engberg, Lauren Lane, Nitin and Tiga, as well as an unannounced special guest will all be playing at this special event. And that's just the beginning.

Conceived by The Night League in collaboration with Music Against Animal Cruelty (M.A.A.C.), this event will be donating all profits from this event to wildlife conservation projects, with all the DJs contributing their performances for free.

Created by international DJ and producer of Art Department, Jonny White, CEO and Founder of Pulse Global, Wade Cawood and Founder of Tears for Tigers, Jack Baucher, the non-profit organization M.A.A.C. has one simple directive: to aid wildlife conservation via music.

For this event all proceeds will go to two community-led initiatives in Africa: Rhino Conservation Botswana and Lion Guardians Kenya.

In the words of founder and CEO of The Night League Yann Pissenem, “Cruelty against any animal is simply unacceptable so I could not refuse the incredible opportunity to work with the Music Against Animal Cruelty team. Together, we will not only raise funds for their cause, but we'll also increase awareness about some of the truly horrific things affecting defenceless animals every day. While the entertainment industry is about fun and enjoyment, I'm very happy to see the community rally for such a serious and worthwhile cause.”

In the last 40 years, 90% of the world rhinos have disappeared, the tiger population has decreased by 97% since 1900 and every year around 30,000 elephants are slaughtered for their ivory. Continuing at this rate, the world would see 20% of its 15 million species extinct within the next 30 years.

There's no time like now to contribute and spread the message. Get involved.
