Heart's most emblematic party, Acid Sundays moved its trippy setup and psychedelic sound to Las Dalias this past summer. For 2018 it returns to the original open-air venue for exclusive dates.
With three seasons under its belt, Acid Sundays began in and was the undisputed party of summer 2015, resulting in snaking queues and total roadblock in Marina Botafoch. Its success continued in 2016 and can be accounted for by its unrivalled hedonistic spirit, as well as the crowd's fervent eagerness to lose itself in the psychedelic sounds provided by Acid Pauli. In 2017, Acid Sundays changed it up and began festivities during the day. At this new space, the party reinvented itself, combining nature, magic and the free spirit of the island.
This year it picks it back up on Sunday 20 May from 18:00 to midnight. The original party takes over one of the most authentic open-air venues on the island again and will be held monthly.
At Acid Sundays, you can expect a soundtrack that traverses the realms of not only techno and house but also whatever genre takes the fancy of Acid Pauli and his weekly selection of eclectic live band and DJ guests. Besides, it wouldn't be Acid Sundays without a bit of freaky performance art incorporated.
This one is definitely a party for mavericks and misfits who dare to dance in outlandish costumes. A party where eccentricity is the only commodity, Acid Sundays is one wild and wonderful ride. For those who want to continue after midnight, it is also a prelude to Bedouin Presents Saga at HEART Ibiza.
