San Antonio and Santa Eulalia have had their Tapas 'campaigns' already this year and now Ibiza town steps up to the plate with its 6th annual gastro week. Why it's called a week I'm not sure as it actually lasts from the 5th to 27th April!
The idea is to push the gastronomy and its link with tourism by giving professional courses in cooking, organising special set meals in restaurants throughout Ibiza town and a two day food fest in the centre of town.
There are 25 restaurants participating in gastro week this year and they'll be offering special menus from as little as €8 and upwards from the 5th to the 17th April, and here they are;
Cafè All Bistro, Anduriña, Antic Ara i Abans, Antonio, Ave César, Bar Flotante, Bellamar, Can Friends, Ca n'Alfredo, Can Rafal, Can Xicu, El Brasero, Entrepans i amanides, Hostal Talamanca, Hotel Pacha, Ke Kafé, La Brasa, La Mariana, La Marina, Mar a Vila, s'Ametller, Sa Nansa, Sa Vianda, Tragallum, Il Vinaino.

The 'tapa tasting' takes place on the weekend of the 16th and 17th April in a marquee in the main square, the Vara de Rey in Ibiza, where town's eateries will be showing off their skills and providing succulent dishes at only €1 each. It's open from 12.00 until 22.00 on the Saturday and 12.00 until 16.30 on the Sunday.
