San Antonio is having the best summer on record, in terms of the stature of DJs being brought to the town. Now, we can add another. Patrick Topping is the next big international DJ added to the mixer. He will join protege Ben Hemsley at Ibiza Rocks on Sunday 7 July.
Earlier in his career, Ben was taken under the wing of fellow Geordie Patrick, releasing music on his Trick label and getting booked to play at party showcases. Look how he has flourished in the years since, now boasting his own headline residency on Ibiza. We've come full circle.
Both Ben and Patrick have had wild starts to their Ibiza 2024.
Ben headlined Amnesia for the first time at the start of June, while Patrick had stepped in to fill the boots of FISHER on Wednesdays at Hï Ibiza.
Ben was already confirmed to appear there alongside Pat in The Theatre. Being able to return the favour and bring the Trick boss to "the home of the pool party" seems like a fair exchange.
While we still have a few weeks to wait until Patrick's appearance, Ben Hemsley kicks off later today. A strong Scottish contingent is coming for the occasion, with LaLa and Big Miz as his guests.
