A month of pintxos and tapas food nights

If it's Thursday, it's Pintxa San Antonio.

Note: this event has been postponed until further notice due to the Spanish state of emergency which provisionally runs until 29 March 2020.

One of the most awaited food and social events of the low-season, Pintxa San Antonio returns for 2020 to enliven Thursday nights weekly from 5 March to 9 April.

With 27 different bars and restaurants taking part in and around San Antonio, you'll be spoilt for choice with the array of small skewered bites, known as pintxos, as well as tapas on offer.

Each food item comes with a drink, usually a beer or glass of wine at a price that never changes year-on-year.

For as little as €2.50, a pincho and a drink is yours or a tapas dish with drink comes in at €4.50.

For those with bigger appetites, go for the larger caprinchos - speciality dishes that are put on by each venue, starting from as little as €4.

Now in its twelfth year, Pintxa San Antonio encourages you to bar hop so you can eat and drink in as many different places as possible, soaking up the charged atmosphere of each venue.

This year's venues include Ample 32, Es Nàutic, Hostal la Torre, Bondi, Can Gust., Grill Sant Antoni and Cantina Canalla.

A mini-train will whisk you from eatery to eatery - look for the route map on page seven of the Pintxa San Antonio brochure.

There's a great selection of savoury and sweet dishes with vegan and vegetarian options offered from midday to midnight.

For an event that's effervescing with tasty treats, make your way to Pintxa San Antonio!
