Pacha unveils five opening parties

...with five all-night-long sets.

Yes, yes, yes! The legendary Pacha has just dropped some brilliant news. Once again this year it will be having a multi-part celebration with five opening parties each with an all-night-long set by a first-class headliner. The first three weekends of May just got even hotter.

The five-part opening party series kicks off with Canada's superstar DJ and producer Tiga. With over twenty years of global sold-out tours, top-selling productions and festival appearances, he ranks amongst dance music's favourite figures. You can catch him on Friday 3 May.

The very next night on Saturday 4 May, one of electronic music's most respected DJs, John Digweed takes over the DJ booth. The Bedrock Records label co-founder has been going strong, touring worldwide for decades, wowing clubbers with his solid style and captivating sets.

The following weekend on Friday 10 May another pro takes the lead of the Pacha soundscape: Paco Osuna. The multi-awarded DJ will no doubt be bringing pure techno cuts with loads of energy.

One of the hottest German imports, Gerd Janson will be at the helm next on Saturday 11 May. This brilliant selector is loved for the hidden gems he drops. With residencies at the infamous Robert Johnson and Panorama Bar, he has an immense grip on past, present and future sounds of dance music.

Finally, to top it all off, on Friday 17 May the globally celebrated Mano Le Tough will conclude the five-part opening extravaganza with his slick DJ skills. Also a regular at Berghain's Panorama Bar and Robert Johnson, he blends elements of techno, house, disco and new wave to create a unique sound.

Wow. Pacha clearly continues with its "back to the basics" ethos of having one major artist taking clubbers on an all-night-long ride. All you have to do is choose...or maybe not.
