Save the date as BBC Radio 1 is making its annual pilgrimage to the White Isle from 4 to 7 August to host another one of its legendary weekends. Returning to Ibiza for its 23rd year now, BBC Radio 1 has announced a blistering hot line-up for this year's edition.
The weekend will host three enormous Radio 1 broadcasts from its different events each showcasing some of the biggest players in today's scene and how they get down on the Mecca of electronic music.
Along with those prominent names, the weekend will also feature some of everyone's favorite DJs from the Radio 1 family, such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, B.Traits, MistaJam, DJ Target, Monki, Toddla T and Benji B.
The first of the parties will be making its way to Ushuaïa Entertainment's new Hï Ibiza, while the next two Radio 1 events will be heading back to the storied Café Mambo.
The event at Hï will take place on Friday 4 August, and bills Annie Mac, B Traits, Danny Howard, Eric Prydz, Kölsch, Maya Jane Coles, Mele, Monki, MistaJam, Pete Tong, DJ Target, Toddla T, Tiga and Waze & Odyssey on the line-up. The live stream for this event is set to be broadcast from 20:00 to 5:00 Ibiza Time. Tickets will be available from Friday 14th July.
Radio 1 will be making its return back to Café Mambo the following days, on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 August. Saturday's line-up includes Claptone, Danny Howard, Disciples, Duke Dumont b2b Gorgon City, Friend Within b2b Kideko, Icarus, MistaJam, Riton and TCTS. Sunday will also be blessed with beats courtesy of Annie Mac, B Traits, Benji B, Black Coffee, Jessie Ware and Jorja Smith.
Both days will also feature some very special unannounced guests that will be revealed as the weekend approaches. Saturday's broadcast will stream from 17:00 – 00:00 Ibiza time while Sunday's will stream from 20:00 - 00:00 Ibiza Time.
These are events that are to not be missed, as Radio 1 and Ibiza have a deep history together.
