The Council has pulled out all the stops to announce the Christmas programme for San Antonio in 2003.
This year all the local schools are contributing a different scene to the 'Belén' (the crib, or Nativity scene) which will be positioned in the main fountains square of the town.
Like other years, a marquee will be erected to house all the special Christmas, New Year, and Three Kings entertainment and events. There will be concerts of classical and other styles of music, plays, special children's entertainment, as well as the arrival of the 'Royal Postman' who collects the children's begging letters to the 3 Kings.
In addition, the annual carol singing competition takes place in the church, and the only thing not in place to make the festivities go with a real bang is the orchestra to play on New Year's Eve.
