Sankeys Ibiza is massively mixing up things for 2016 as they celebrate the club's earliest ever opening party on 1st May, instead of its usual spot in the last week of this month.
Why the change? Club owner David Vincent had this to say: "For many years there has always been talk about extending the Ibiza clubbing season. After five years of being here, nothing has changed it was just "blah blah blah" so I thought to myself, f*ck it, I'll do it. I like a challenge and I want to progressively push the island I love forward whilst creating a legacy like I did in Manchester! May the 1st be with you."
Enlisted to see the 12 hour marathon session kick-off are VIVa Warriors top dog Steve Lawler and Resident Advisor’s number 1 live performance artist - KiNK - who’ll be flexing his award winning skill with a live set. They're to be joined by Ushuaïa's Ants man of the moment Kölsch, creator of Freak Like Me (one of the hottest tracks of the moment) Lee Walker, Tribal Sessions resident Miguel Campbell and the soon to be announced final winning members of Team Sankeys. This collective of some of the finest female DJs of the moment have been unified as part of David Vincent’s ‘Break the Glass Ceiling’ female DJ project and are all residents at the club’s much welcomed new winter party, Sankeys Sabados.
The party will kick off at 6:30pm with a free barbeque on the rooftop and the party will run for a full 12 hours until sunrise the next day. From now and until the end of February, early bird tickets can be yours for just €25, and thereafter you can make the grab for €39.
