Sankeys are bringing in the big guns to celebrate the end of another superb summer with Ibiza's lovers of the big beat. On Tuesday 4 October 2016, although Sankeys will not close its doors completely, the Playa d'en Bossa club is hosting a special event during the rampant Ibiza closing week that will be a showcase of what has been the sound of the club for years and over the summer.
Steve Lawler has, as predicted, stormed through the summer with his Warriors residency, which puts him in pole position to head the bill for the big bash. He'll be accompanied by Santé and Sindey Charles who've had a big presence in 2016 with them hosting the Lab on various dates throughout the six month spin. Denmark's Anek will be dismanting the dance floor with their distinctive house style, and you've also got Sankeys' Abode residents, Jimmy Switch and Ellie Cocks in the firing line. Sankeys' successful US house and garage night, The Redlight, made a return this year to plenty of delighted punters and in representing its sound is Maxine Hardcastle.
Elsewhere in the basement club, the Spektrum room will be hosted by Capadi Rebels, with a line-up that includes names like Rosario, David G Tronic, Kan.e and Hardline. In the intimate Boutique room, you have High Tide & Switch presented DJs Metrospekt, Jody Hannan, Boule and Cultura DJs, along with other suprise guests.
