Preview: This Is Hard Rock Ibiza

What do The Prodigy, Kylie Minogue and Snoop Dogg have in common?.

The roll call for This Is Hard Rock live music series just keeps getting better, so we thought we better give you the heads up on who is still to come, and which new artists have been added so you don't miss any opportunities to catch some amazing live music on an island where the DJ booth usually reigns supreme.

Tonight Ibiza welcomes back a popstar with serious edge, as Miss Ellie Goulding makes her Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza debut. The award winning songstress is no stranger to the white isle, but every time she makes an appearance the demand for the return of her silky tones grows stronger. Goulding's only Ibiza appearance this year comes in the middle of a strong debut season for Ibiza Rocks, which has already hosted classic acts like Chic and UB40, plus new talents like Tinie Tempah and Robin Thicke.

Still to come in the season will be the queen of pop, Kylie Minogue (joined by Pete Tong, Brian Cross and Heidi) on the 22nd of August. She'll be pushing her new album of course, and will also feature the classic hits that got her where she is today. Expect feathers and flamboyance aplenty. Also coming up is the ultimate crowd hyping MC, Pitbull, plus the gangster turned rasta hip hop master, one very chilled Snoop Dogg on the 15th of August - or is it Lion now? We're particularly excited to see how Ibiza responds to his unique wave length - I for one will be laid back, sipping on gin and juice. But that's just me.

On the rock end of the spectrum, there will be two special September gigs - the first being Placebo on the 12th of September, who are amidst a world tour of their latest record. It's an unusual booking for the island, but we can't wait to hear how the angsty warbles of Placebo's Brian Molko sound under the Balearic stars. Finally, Hard Rock close their debut season with a bang. No really - what bang could be louder than one made by The Prodigy. Only just announced, the british trio will be wreaking their havoc on Ibiza on the 19th of September, in a riotous closing party that will remind everyone what Hard Rock is really about.

With the exception of Placebo, all remaining Hard Rock concerts will be held at the neighbouring Ushuaïa Beach Hotel - which means more room for fans, and a chance to hear a hugely eclectic collection of sounds at Ushuaïa - a venue which not only pushes the EDM spectacle it's most famous for, but transforms itself to cater to the underground, and now live music scenes which also flourish on the island.

So choose your adventure and get yourself down to one of the diverse This Is Hard Rock concerts - if not all!
